Project Description

In these energy saving projects, the primary exhaust fans for the parking garage were upgraded to operate at a variable speed with the addition of variable frequency drives (VFD’s) and a new gas monitoring system. New safety switches were also added to provide emergency activation or shutdown of exhaust system. We also upgraded the lighting throughout the garage and stairwells to LED for improved energy savings and occupant visibility. This project ultimately netted significant Energy Trust of Oregon incentives for the State of Oregon.
